Kristin Heinrich is a registered psychologist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. She has a strong focus on women’s health, psycho-oncology, and guiding individuals through complex life transitions, providing a thoughtful and compassionate approach to therapy.
Kristin has worked alongside leading women’s health specialists and psychiatrists in Brisbane, gaining valuable experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She is passionate about empowering women through evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

What should I expect in my first session?
Your first session will focus on understanding your background, challenges, and goals. Kristin will work with you to create a therapy plan that suits your needs.
Do you offer Telehealth appointments?
Yes, Kristin offers secure Telehealth sessions across Australia.
How long are therapy sessions?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes.
Are sessions covered by Medicare?
Yes, Medicare rebates are available with a referral from your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan.
How much does each session cost?
Our fees are $220 per session. If you are eligible for a referral from your GP, you are able to obtain a Medicare rebate of $96.65, making your out-of-pocket cost $123.35.
As of 1st July 2024, the Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) recommended fee for Psychological Therapy is $311 per 50 minute session. To ensure accessibility to good quality and affordable health services for individuals requiring psychological services, Our fees for Psychological Therapy are notably lower than the APS’s recommendations to accommodate for a greater range of individuals in need of services.
We are able to automatically take payments during your appointment so that you can focus your entire appointment on treatment. Credit card details will be requested from you at the time of making your first appointment. These details are securely stored in our practice management software, Halaxy.
